India's Biggest Airport To Come Up In Goa, Even Bigger Than Mumbai And Delhi

Anyone who has ever been to Goa knows that their airport sucks big time, especially those flying in from Mumbai and Delhi. So, in order to make your Goa trips even more magnanimous than they are right now, the Goa airport is now being remodelled.

In a joint effort of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Commerce Logistics Department, the entire airport will be revamped. Their respective teams will reach Goa on 7th-8thMay 2018 to facilitate the development of cargo hubs at the new airport to be constructed at Mopa in Goa.

This second airport will become functional in 2020.

The teams will be joined by Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industries who will work closely on the project. They will further ensure smooth connectivity to the coastal belt of Western India. Furthermore, this airport will not just help Goa, but all the other states laid on the coastal course - Maharashtra, Karnataka and Kerala.
